Like Alan Bennett being far more than northern mannerisms there was so much more to Patricia Routledge than Kitty (but by god, Kitty was funny). Her Talking Heads busybody Lady of Letters was devastating in its curtain twitching portrayal of loneliness and tragedy. RIP you wonderful woman.

Not much of a golf fan but every two years I get caught up in Ryder Cup fever. This was no exception. The tension is incredible. Shane Lowry under immense pressure. Wonderful.
