At Cardiff for Wales v Argentina.
I’m in the odd position of wanting Wales to win.

Some movement finally for deaf swimmers in their fight for funding? 🙏🏻
All brought about because of the never-say-die attitude of my mate and hero @nydeafswimmer.bsky.social and his 1512 consecutive days of campaigning. 🙌
Please, Lisa Nandy… make this happen!!! 🤞🙏🏻

Australia and India have just put on a wonderful show. A great advert for the Women’s World Cup and the 50 over format.
How important has it become that India, even though they posted a huge score, didn’t use all their overs?

Like Alan Bennett being far more than northern mannerisms there was so much more to Patricia Routledge than Kitty (but by god, Kitty was funny). Her Talking Heads busybody Lady of Letters was devastating in its curtain twitching portrayal of loneliness and tragedy. RIP you wonderful woman.

Golf once was an example of sportsmanship & good manners.
But look at this.
Europe’s Ryder Cup team mocking President Trump.
Mr Trump is a much loved man & a great peacemaker.
These golfers should be reprimanded.😡
This is why we must never rejoin The EU!

Not much of a golf fan but every two years I get caught up in Ryder Cup fever. This was no exception. The tension is incredible. Shane Lowry under immense pressure. Wonderful.
