If history keeps echoing then I’m not sure whether we’re currently in 49 BC when Caesar crossed the Rubicon or 45 BC when he won the civil war and was declared dictator for life. If it’s the latter then the good news is that we only have a year left to go. The bad news is that so does the republic.
