あ、今回は私はファーストじゃないんですよね。ファーストの研究者の方の所属の規定で他学の学生は入れられないということでした。指導教員など東北大側の教員が入っているわけではないので、万一何かあった時に責任取れないよということだと解釈しました。

特定外来種ガビチョウのさえずりを高山帯で初めて記録 | 生物・環境 - TSUKUBA JOURNAL
日本で分布を拡大させ続けている特定外来種のガビチョウのさえずりを、中央アルプス木曽駒ヶ岳の高山帯（標高約2770m）で初記録しました。さえずりは、繁殖期の雄が、なわばり主張や雌へのアピールとして発する鳴き声です。ガビチョウの繁殖域が低地から高山帯へと拡大している恐れがあります。

共著の論文が出ました。高山帯の標高2,700m地点にガビチョウがいたよ、という報告です。これまでの侵入の状況など文献調査を担当しました。徐々に高標高地域へ分布を広げているようです。

New genome assembly of a land snail🐌🎉
Krishnan et al. present annotated nuclear and mitochondrial genome assemblies of Indrella ampulla, a color polymorphic land snail endemic to the Western Ghats of India. The assembly has N50 of 632 kb, and 93.5% BUSCO completeness.

シギ・チドリ類を指す言葉が、イギリス英語圏でwader、アメリカ英語圏でshorebirdに分かれてるのであります。ちなみにイギリス英語圏では胴長はなんていうのかと思って、去年オーストラリアの研究者と調査した時によく聞いてみたら普通にwader bootsでした。

鳥学会大会でいただいたポスター賞の副賞の、モンベルサンダーパスジャケットを受け取りました！春夏秋3シーズン使えそうで重宝しそうです。ベンチレーションがないのはバンダー的には意外と嬉しいポイント（かすみ網に絡みにくいので）。改めてありがとうございました！
