since akechi's outfits follow his personas' design philosophy (robin hood gets a gallant-looking outfit, loki gets a... slinky-looking outfit), the new outfit should also reflect the core of hereward's design. so, urban armor? my mind also goes to biker fits with textured leather...

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.
