I think Taylor used the Opalite wrong! It seems like it’s meant to be used on inanimate objects but she used it on herself. It’s used on the trash, and the cactus. We see the Nopalite used on a person but I’ll get to that in a second. She’s the only PERSON we see the Opalite sprayed on 🧵

Literally, I have always maintained that Maroon is not about any one muse, but is about her queerness and that side of herself that she had to give up. And the legacy that she had to leave behind, keeps her up at night in the same way that she grieves who she could’ve been in BTTWS.
