Go see the husband's brilliant play at Arcola theatre:
The Double Act by Mark Jagasia

Saw this cracking new play last night at the @arcolatheatre.bsky.social in Dalston. Written by an old mate of mine from newspaper days, it's a dark & very funny analysis of changing attitudes to offence, comedy & politics. Performances are uniformly exquisite.

Bedroom window's open a crack for fresh air and it's bringing in the heady smell of distant turf smoke and night-time bubbling curlew calls from the shore through the cold darkness. Irish winter is tough, but it's beautiful.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

Now.
