In contrast, policies and misinformation under Donald Trump contributed to hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic. And now, with children already dying from preventable illnesses, pushing anti-vaccine rhetoric is dangerous and unnecessary.

It’s interesting how the right never mentions the lives saved by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Even conservatively, it saved hundreds of thousands of Americans by requiring coverage for pre-existing conditions—something insurers previously denied, affecting roughly 30% of the population.
