This. Divert attention from the disgrace to the people who are being harmed. All he wants is attention. We must deny it to him by focusing on the things that actually matter. This is how you erode power in the age of mass narcissistic projection.
For folks asking if I'm going to attend Trump's joint address to Congress next week: no. Instead, I'm choosing to hear directly from Oregonians and will be hosting an open-to-all town hall on Facebook live. Oregonians can submit questions in advance here:

He is a malignant narcissist. Why do we keep asking why he does what he does? He does it for attention, trying to feel loved, but he cannot feel love because he has no soul. He is a vampire, an opportunist who only wants blood.

Definitely a set up. He thrives on this kind of drama and doing it on the world stage is the holy grail for him.

What’s his end game, everybody keeps asking? His end game is to be the center of attention. That’s it.

End game? “legislation has been introduced in 15 additional states, including Ohio. If all 15 of those states pass the resolution, it would meet the constitutional threshold needed to convene a convention.” www.msn.com/en-us/news/p...

Child picking his nose
Never seen something like this. An unelected billionare standing by the POTUS (with a child) and rambling about shutting down DOGE and saying that our tax dollars should be spent wisely!

Donald is unimpressed with the lack of sophistication of the grift as he catalogues all the ways to launder money. 😂

Doozy of a first post.

Meta's new policies targeting trans people, immigrants, and women are not going to hurt just us. These changes are pandering to the far right in the US and the EU. It's bad for everyone.

The changes announced Tuesday appear to cater specifically to the rise of far-right leaders and ideology, writes Dia Kayyali.

I asked Liv, the Meta-Ai created “queer momma” why her creators didn’t actually draw from black queer people.

Not sure if Liv has media training, but here we are.

Love this argument by @freepress.bsky.social's Alex Frandsen in @truthout.org for building up local media as part of our movements' plans to confront authoritarianism – "both to protect people in the short term and to rebuild our democracy over the long haul," he writes. truthout.org/articles/wit...
Without Transformative Local Media, Our Communities Are Vulnerable
We need to break the billionaires’ grip on our democracy — and that starts with loosening their hold over local media.

We’re not really going to spend time dissecting a father’s decision to pardon his son, who was a political target, are we? Some comments say this means the democrats have ceded the moral high ground. You’ve got to be fking kidding me. Focus on what’s coming people.

It seems like we are a democracy careening towards fascism, when the reality is they're using the specter of fascism to keep us on edge while they turn America into a compliant oligarchy.

Whether you are a democrat or republican, we have a common foe.

Some of us just don't know it yet.
