Petitioning reps who suck is the political equivalent of pest control: they’re gross, but ignoring them makes it worse. Annoy them relentlessly—it’s free, and it works.
Not all reps can be convinced to do the right thing, but every single one of us has the power to at least be very annoying. I believe in you 💜
And, importantly: contact your reps ESPECIALLY if you think they're worthless transphobic bigots. Don't make it easy for them. Don't let them believe nobody gives a fuck.
