It's been 20 years since this great console launched. The Xbox 360 was just one of those systems that you had to own. 2005-2010 were the best years for this guy. The blades interface was excellent. Achievements were introduced and offered bragging rights to your friends.

Loved Ninja Gaiden Black, and it's still one of the best action-adventure games I've ever played. RIP

I started Bayonetta on my switch 2 and it’s better than I remember. I haven’t played it since it came out on Xbox 360. I also bought the switch version years ago.

So I bought a steam deck over a switch 2. It made more sense as I do have more indie games on steam and didn't want to rebuild that library on switch 2.

The Switch 2 hardware is reasonably priced at $450. The systems screen at 120hz with VRR or Gsync at 1080p is really good. Also the Tegra chip inside the Switch is packed with some modern tech like DLSS.

So I read this week that most people who are buying consoles are people my age (38) and older? That kind of warms my heart knowing that gaming as a hobby is something i can enjoy well into my 40s as other people are doing.

The last time I visited a Blockbuster was in June 2005. It was to go get Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for the Xbox. I went there on a Friday shortly after the launched on Xbox and was shocked they had one copy left for rent.
