My new report with Parkland Institute provides one of the clearest cases why for-profit surgical outsourcing is not the solution that provincial governments claim

Relevant findings for all provinces (looking at you Ontario)
Private surgical facilities in Alberta are starving the public system of staff and funding to perform priority procedures, according to a new report that concludes the province has yet to increase surgical capacity or reduce wait times as pledged. #ableg www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/alber...

Trump’s tariffs are infuriating. They threaten workers, industries, and our sovereignty.

But as Laurent Carbonneau writes, in moments of crisis like this Canadian politicians have too often poured billions into corporate coffers, —rather than supporting people.

Danielle Smith is right: Poilievre would pull Canada in the same dangerous direction as Trump’s America.

Poilievre’s campaign has been about pitting and dividing Canadians — vilifying the queer & trans community, migrants and marginalized people, while cozying up to the far-right and billionaires.

No, that's how we become the US. We have to distinguish ourselves by returning to the values that matter.
Tax the rich, big corps, cut subsidies, help lift people up.
