there is no reason for ICE to exist. immigrants aren’t doing anything wrong by trying to live and work and provide for their loved ones. I don’t care how people got here. if they want to be here that’s good. leave them alone.

remembering how one of the nuns at my catholic high school once took our class to the school's back patio so we could all scream at the sky during finals and she screamed way louder and harder than anyone else. i could use that again

ereaders are valid and practical but not ensouled the way a physical book is
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

books need to be smaller and by that i mean like physically. we need more little bricks to carry around. i love holding a small, heavy object in my hand. large hardcovers make it harder to want to read but small thick bricks are appealing and compete with the other small rectangle i carry around

brb gotta flesh out the gunk from my sink drain
We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps:

- It’s ‘voilà,’ not ‘wallah!’
- It’s ‘a lot,’ not ‘alot.’
- It’s ‘further ado,’ not ‘farther adieu.’
- It’s ‘flesh out,’ not ‘flush out.’
- It’s ‘sneak peek,’ not ‘sneak peak.’

No worries if not!!!

using glorified predictive text to try to understand a legal document is a recipe for disaster

please god do not ask an ai assistant to summarize your legally binding contract rights. that's what your agent is for, and they shouldn't use ai for this either. if nothing else, we're writers ffs; we can read. contracts aren't arcane or opaque they're actually pretty legible by design, if long
