I’ve been thinking this since I started making standard decks on Arena. If WOTC wants more engagement with paper standard, they have to make Arena a 1 to 1 experience playing paper magic. Every pack you open should have a digital counter part that opens the same cards. But that doesn’t make money

Man I really want a blink style deck bc I love enters effects, but I feel blink decks are all the same :/ I haven’t found that speaks to me. Spider-UK seems hipster enough for me due to being uncommon, but the game play is still boring :/

Spider-man MTG diorama is decent. I’m not a fan of the really cheap easel that only holds the cards at the bottom. And, of course, the foil cards came pre curled. Overall, I’ll just displayed them better myself

Everyone in baseball is “tired” of hearing about Shohei but he needs to be talked about more. The average person needs to know how INSANELY GOOD Shohei is. What he is doing is similar to ascending to baseball godhood

The thing that gets me the most riled up for UB is the disconnect between Arena and paper for Spider-Man. It’s so frustrating that a company like Hasbro couldn’t throw all the money they needed to obtain digital rights. Are we never going to get a properly named Marvel set on arena?

Universes beyond does still feel like magic. But I can’t shake the feeling the rest of the community also has… it feels like a bubble. It feels like “this is a phase of MTG that will pass.” And this is coming from a magic Zoomer. I started playing in 2021.

I have never drafted as much as I did for Final Fantasy, and I’ve never played a single FF game. It was incredible though and I think I’ve officially gotten draft under my belt as a format I will regularly participate in.

Every time I got on a Star Wars kick I find it harder to find new YouTube channels. It’s either a ranking video, lore video, or hair pulling whining. I don’t mind the first two but the last one makes not want to engage in Star Wars YouTube at all

The more I play my Esper clue deck the more I am in love with Stridehanger. If you haven’t picked up a copy it’s still under 5 dollars. Since investigate X times means you investigate once, X times it gets around the “one or more” clause of Stridehanger. So you make thopters = to the number of clues

My playgroup just played our first “Epic Dragon Showdown™️” between these dragon commanders. It was fun and I thought Ur-Dragon had it in the bag until well known dragon Alexios came in started hitting for double damage! Firkraag won through cunning goading!
