#InvincibleFightGirl episode 4 'The Way of the World" is a masterclass in fighting spirit, and the ring psychology of pro wrestling. Watching Andy get it out the mud and squabble makes you believe in her dream of becoming the best wrestler alive

Wrote about the masterclass @suckerpunchprod.bsky.social put on in #GhostofYotei. The juxtaposition of Atsu becoming the onryo while re-discovering her heart + the respect given to the Ainu people and them representing a different path, all had my heart hurt, broken, and full in the best way
'Ghost of Yōtei': "It's Not Revenge She's After, It's a Reckoning"
Ghost of Yōtei is beautiful sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Jin Sakai made this franchise a hot song but Atsu made it a hot album

I got to chime in for this @npr.org write up on the etymology and evolution of nerd by Joe Hernandez.

You can't won't hear it but I had the 'In the air tonight" drum breakdown on repeat for the entirety of the interview out of pure excitement.
Nerd! How a word possibly invented by Dr. Seuss went from geeky insult to mainstream
Nerd has been part of our lexicon for three-quarters of a century, its geeky meaning embodied by some of the most recognizable characters in film and TV, but its origin story is a bit murky.

The Fire Beneath Ferrix: 'Andor' Shows Us What 'Star Wars' Always Could Be
Andor did not just raise the bar for Star Wars shows. It quietly redefined what a rebellion story could be.

The thing with Pedro Pascal is he not only gives a fuck; he knows he's huge enough to spend all day trashing bigots safely because entire franchises are built around him atm. He's no dispensable Gina Carano-tier secondary guy. This also underlines how most famous artists as big as him are cowards.

South of Midnight is not perfect, but it is something far rarer: it is honest. It is textured and aching and filled with love for a culture.
