Hi everyone! Thanks so much for following me. I thought I should make a post about my published research if you're interested in knowing more about misinformation and disinformation on social media platforms. Many thanks to @reportbywilson.bsky.social for including me in his starter pack!
Rest in peace Baek Se-hee ❤️ I have this fragment from 'I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki' saved in my collection of book quotes on my phone. #booksky💙📚

Moments of happiness in research...when a book chapter you wrote about Russian propaganda is cited in a journal article on Lithuanian political discourse. As the daughter of a Lithuanian, I feel especially proud that my research might be contributing in some small way to important work 🇱🇹❤️

Wow, listening to this poem and reading the comments section is very insightful. Knowledge needs to be open and free, not behind paywalls and expensive degrees...

What a powerful speech from Dr Vanessa Pirrotta, thank you! ❤️

“I was 30, qualified and lost. I felt like I’d given everything to the science world, and all I wanted to do was to stay [in Australia] and have kids, but I couldn’t find a job in academia."

The new Penguin Archive Series is pretty nice. Feels slightly surreal though reading classics that now need to contain warning statements against AI training systems. #booksky💙📚

Super fascinating book, read it in one sitting. As someone who has only lived through the contemporary university, it was interesting to read about the history of universities in Australia and the effects of government policies. I hope universities always remain a public good. #booksky💙📚
