I’ve started something new...quieter, more intimate. ✍🏾

Where I can share stories, confessions, and reflections that don’t belong on the main stage.

If you’ve ever wondered about the margins—the spaces where inheritance becomes invention—you’ll find me.

I never thought I’d be saying this, because reds were my first foray into wine in my early 20s, but…

Unless they’re paired with food, I prefer whites or champagne for casual sipping. They’ve seemingly become too “heavy” for that purpose.

Strength isn’t only in the muscles—it’s in the discipline, the showing up, and the little promises I keep to myself. 🖤

September is a threshold month; where the air starts to shift. This playlist is the soundtrack I’ve been writing, cooking, and living by lately. Meet me in the margins of sound guided by the voices of the 60s and 70s, when music carried both rebellion and reverence. open.spotify.com/playlist/1i6...

Tlaquepaque afternoons, sun-warmed walls, the hum of mariachis drifting from the plaza, and the laughter of lovers echoing between cobblestones as my friend captured this moment. Back then, life in Mexico felt like color made tangible, and I carried that brightness everywhere I went.

How I miss it

Hyping yourself up to write is a wild ride. One minute you’re like, “YEAAAAAH! LET’S GOOO!”

The fear of the public reading what I write & the fear of no one reading what I write should make out, tbh 😓.

It’s time to get my nails done. I’ve been trying to allow the 3rd finger to grow back out somewhat after my nail ripped off while setting up my tent for camping. Going shorter because I need to play cello and type.

John Martyn was born on this day in 1948. Often sublime as an artist. Often the opposite as a human being. I wrote a book about him which came out in 2020. It’s quite short, but probably long enough. It stands up, I think. omnibuspress.com/products/sma...
