Addendum: From the Commission's press release, it sounds like X did not do any ad hoc risk assessment report before launching Grok, which it is obligated to do under the DSA.

I'd just add I don't think the crisis is at all over, because Trump never sticks to agreements just because they're conventionally considered binding. The crisis will only be over when his regime is dislodged from Washington, if then.
If Europe found a way for him to save face and move on, great. But Carney's speech was still spoken and was still true. The bell has rung.

Even if he weren’t lying & going to TACO & committing serially illegal offenses requiring immediate impeachment & removal, he has no idea how to impose & credibly enforce differential tariffs on only 6 of 27 🇪🇺 countries.
Trump says he'll impose a 10% tariff (rising to 25% in June) on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland, because they've sent people to Greenland, until the US can buy Greenland.
