Autism and ADHD diagnoses are hard enough to access anyway, often taking years, and then support after is generally non-existent for autistic folk who are considered able to function with minimal support and medication for ADHD is often the only support ADHDers are offered.
People waiting for an ADHD assessment deserve timely support.

Autism and ADHD diagnoses are hard enough to access anyway, often taking years, and then support after is generally non-existent for autistic folk who are considered able to function with minimal support and medication for ADHD is often the only support ADHDers are offered.
This. I'm Gen X, and yes, I had a feral childhood. As an undiagnosed AuDHD-but-very-academic child with a very complicated relationshipwith my mother, I was an outcast, so I have significant amounts of trauma. Yet I still felt like I had a future. Today's teens don't feel that.
If only there was as much effort put into improving youth services, making sports, arts and crafts available and affordable, and making the physical environment more 'teen-friendly' as there is for banning kids from social media or taking their phones away.

Spent a couple of afternoons piddling about with terraforming a cave and breeding donkeys in my 3.5 year old Minecraft survival world.
Logged out. Game crashed. Got stuck on loading terrain screen when trying to reload.

This evening, Grublin 2 and I have made gluten-free cinnamon buns that actually worked and tasted pretty damn good! G2 is turning into a pretty confident baker. First time working with psyllium husk powder. Essential for a proper dough, but oh boy is it absolutely revolting to start with!
