This looks kinda sorta awesome
Today I took delivery of the new @ospreygames.bsky.social #TTRPG 'The Hooded Man' by Graham Rose.

My love of the 1980s HTV show "Robin of Sherwood' knows no bounds; I've always wanted a #RPG that would emulate it so will this scratch that itch?

I'll let you know but it's looking good so far!

Canada grieves for those impacted by the incomprehensible tragedy in Tumbler Ridge. Regardless of who you are or where you live, there are moments when politics cease to be important or relevant - do not fail to recognize those moments. Show your quality.

Man, I miss my hometown.

The Ramsey Lake Skating Path, 1.5km of serene beauty in the heart of Sudbury, Ontario.

Group of folks who have only ever played DND5E and a short AD&D campaign. Want to try running them through something new, trying to decide between Star Trek FASA and Traveller, with Call of Cthulhu as an outside contender. Which is the best for such a group?

Hey, don't be dumb (like this guy). If a highway is closed, it's closed for a reason. Driving on a closed roadway voids your auto insurance; coverage only applies when you're driving legally. If you get stuck, not only are you putting your life at risk, but those of emergency services folks, too.

So, is this just a massive rug-pull, or actually the long-predicted demise of crypto? Lots of folks making lots of money illegally manipulating silver, gold, crypto, etc., these last few days.

Told ya. Stay safe, stay calm, and always choose the side of humanity and goodness in the world.

Love ya, nerds.
This is likely going to be the most consequential and stressful week geopolitically in the last 15 years. Things will seem grim, the world changing under our feet, and threats appearing where we least expected them.

Ground yourself, consume only trusted news sources, and remember what's important.

Raise your hand if you're old enough to remember "play-by-mail" campaigns - any PBM veterans out there?

Wonder if anyone's tried a "play-by-skeet" campaign...

So, so tired of being awash in tech bros, AI, reality TV, crypto, and the clown show that passes itself off as political discourse. Just want to step completely out of it all, disconnect, unplug.

Going to take a news holiday for a few days, maybe run a one-shot for the kids and have a few laughs.

An historic speech from a truly exceptional leader.

Ignore the neocon and Alberta separatist bots attempting to flood the zone with grievance and disinformation; their power is dwindling, and they know it.

Forward, now, all together. A better future awaits, if we seize it.
Carney: "American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, a stable financial system... this bargain no longer works. Let me be direct. We are in the midst of a rupture, not a transition... recently, great powers have begun using economic integration as a weapon. Tariffs as leverage ... "

Wow. Proud to be a Canadian today, and fired up that we have this beauty at the wheel.

I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that we could not possibly be in better hands at this moment in time.

Doug Ford is off base criticizing the agreement with China just because other provinces benefit more from it than Ontario. You might be a goalscorer, but sometimes the coach needs you to backcheck to win the game.

Be a team player, Doug - this is a game we absolutely cannot afford to lose.
