It's been raining ice pellets since morning and not letting up but a nice thing about winter storms is when the sunset comes the whole sky turns a peach tone

Okay here's the story of the one ghost?? encounter I had on the night bus. It was like 2am, only buses running, no commuter trains. Guy gets on, says he doesn't have money right now but has a buddy who can pay at the stop. Bus driver lets him on because it's only $7 for a ticket and late November

I got to inform someone that early Yu-Gi-Oh was extremely bloody and Duke Devlin's father was a murder clown today, to their immense delight. Yu-Gi-Oh is so goated for being able to cause sleeper hits like this. You think you know a show. But then an emo in their 30s pulls up the manga

Extremely enraging to see Republicans proudly doing the exact same shit or worse they accuse China of doing. Don't even have the decency to pretend to be ashamed huh

Even if every game that came out after 2023 has GenAI you could just not play em. There's already so many great games out you would not have time to play em in one lifetime. FOMO is invented by Big Capitalism to make you buy overhyped garbage on day one. Sloppers are the ones missing out on quality.

Ad director voice: do that take again. It didn't sound patronizing or smug enough

AI generated background assets are even more baffling coz free fair use non-ai generated background assets aren't even hard to find?? It might not look cohesive at first but it's easier to spot if you're gonna replace them later anyway

Son what the fuck are you talking about. This isn't a lost color. It's just a word that means a lot of things, like pretty much every Chinese word I'm going to need these ppl to at least pretend to ask a Chinese person before embarrassing themselves like this

Anyway what's the wildest thing about larian claiming genai was only used during ideation to do compositions so it doesn't count being buck wild, is that to most artists that's the FUN PART. That's where the biggest decisions are made. Why THE FUCK

We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

Concept Artists Say Generative AI References Only Make Their Jobs Harder
“The ‘early ideation stages’, when worlds are being fleshed out by writers and artists, are literally crucial to the development of a game’s vision,” said one artist.

The BGD video ranking Megaman robots from 7 years ago maps pretty much perfectly to AI development lmfao. The end phrase "all 200+ megaman robots ranked by how useful they are, of which, 15 are kind of ok. Elon Musk, don't get any ideas."

You don't need AI to layout an idea
yes please and thank you
Found a tweet. Vtuber Den A Rue sent this stick figure drawing of himself reading a book and compared it to the final artwork SuNa delivered. If you can move a pen, you can communicate.

I'm just sayin if tech companies knows what's good for them they'd hard pivot to developing ways to block AI and bots. Massive untapped market of people sick of your shit right there. It's not even hard to repurpose some firewall system or content moderation to do this. But they're dumb.

Voice control is useful for the hard of seeing sure but u know what's even better and less computationally intensive that we already have. Physical buttons with tactile markings. Just give ppl goddam devices with keyboards. Nobody wants to be loudly announcing their shit in public.

Everyday I'm just running my hands down my face and going. Surely I'm not the only one who sees the emperor has no clothes. Come on people he can't execute all of us

Anyway it's so dumb to be like "we can't pop the AI bubble the economy would tank". If there's a bubble that big, the economy is already broken. When the bubble bursts, the people who lose money are the people with their biggest stakes in the bubble, in case of AI, it's mostly just rich techbros
