If the GabenCube is a decent price, will that open conversations for PC to be at FGC events now? Linux is a much better and more stable platform than windows with Steam OS.

I take it back. The Steam Controller is a solid middle ground. Definitely better than whatever the fuck kind of super crack Victrix was on when they made this thing.

Yeah the Steam Machine may cost more than the PS5 or Xbox Series X but it'll also cover the largest library ever and last you much longer as long as you're willing to turn settings down for some games.
Like, you're tellin me there's gonna be a box where I can play ancient stuff I bought from the 360 era no problem AND eventually the new Sony shit, plus indies for sickos & even some old third-party Nintendo exclusives? The PC library no longer being gatekept by needing to build one is huge.

You could already theoretically build a "Steam Machine" technically. But having a dedicated one built for that express purpose is, to me, the biggest selling point. Not just for Steam, but for emulation as well.

Hoping at the very least, this kickstarts the long overdue transition to Hall Effect sticks on all the major platforms. Sony and Microsoft having them at a premium on a $200 controller is absurd, but Nintendo not adopting the tech AT ALL is baffling.

Functionally? Probably the greatest controller ever made. Visually? It looks like one of those prop game controllers they use in Nickelodeon teen sitcoms.
