Bluesky could destroy Elon's X relevance forever by making it comfortable for the AI community to move over. The data/API situation here is better and management there keeps burning credibility for no reason .

My version of the Boots Problem takes it in a much different direction....
The modern Boots Problem is no longer a $20 pair that lasts one year or a $50 pair that lasts ten. It is now a $50 pair made of shitty plastic that will outlive life on Earth, or a $500 pair that weigh 20 grams and cure plantar fascitis.
This is making us more miserable than the original, somehow.

I'm curious about this in general. Now that Musk Thought has taken over the right, is disbelieving climate change cringe and soy now or is the right still in cognitive dissonance? Is it a factional division like H1Bs turned out to be?
Has anyone asked Trump after the Musk merger if he believes in climate change now?

I once saw an interview with a brilliant writer, who complained a lot about pathologies of university English departments (she taught in one). It seemed a pity: on other subjects she was extremely insightful, but this subject was boring
