I don’t claim to know everything, I am still wrong a lot on things, but it’s crazy how many of the disastrous consequences that I predicted would come to pass if we elected Trump a second time have either already happened or are about to happen. I imagine I’m not alone on that either.

The tariffs are complete bluster. I should have seen this coming. It’s meant to be a distraction from Elon Musk and his cronies robbing you blind. That’s what’s happening. We have to put a stop to it, or the entire federal government will go bankrupt.

My hatred for Elon Musk is doubling by the hour. I seriously think he is the most dangerous person in the country and in the world. Someone has to stop him. I don’t know how, but this shadow autocratic rule he’s carving out for himself has to be stopped.

Yep. Americans who voted for Trump need to see his disastrous economic policy for what it is, and if this is what it takes then so be it. Maybe next time they’ll make a more informed decision at the ballot box.
I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

Trump administration rescinded the order to freeze all federal funding. I doubt it’s the last time they try but this feels like a big win. Shows that if enough public outrage is applied, they will cave. At least for now.

I’ve always seen US history as divided into three republics.
The first: 1789-1865. Began with the Bill of Rights and ended with the Civil War.
The second: 1866-1965. Began with Reconstruction and ended with the repeal of Jim Crow.
The third: 1966-present. Will end if Trump’s power grab succeeds.
