Retired now, back in UK after time away, likes walking, baking, motorcycles and warm weather. Definitely left of centre, pro EU.

Don't DM me a generic "Hi" or "Hello" and little else it makes me guess you're a bot, ditto 1/2 naked pictures.

A short and personal tale of why we need to keep free at the point of delivery health care.

At the beginning of this year my daughter and I were attacked walking to her house from a restaurant, a long tale[1]

Postman has just delivered some Reformski bumf. It has a paid return envelope, I am currently resisting the urge to send them a turd since it would be a poor office junior opening and not Fatrage personally.

After a bit of fiddling to make some space on the recently returned desktop. Much juggling of files to and from Nas and portable I've converted an image of my Windows laptop to a Virtual Machine.

That's it, that's the backup and now to ditch my final bare metal Windows machine.

Not treated myself to one of these in ages, actual Nigerian "lager" saw it while getting the groceries and thought yeah I and worth it.

Top Tip, when putting your morning cuppa onto to brew whilst showering remember to put the tea in it or will be very anemic.

Could do with on into Israel too but that's unlikely given how deep their control is.
🚨BOOM! The Petition calling for a public inquiry into Russian influence on UK politics & democracy has now rocketed past 80,000 signatures! Let’s get it to 100,000 this weekend. If a petition is what it’s going to take let’s get this done!

MrsB was wanting more chilli cheese bread and I figured not made baguettes for a while. I completely goofed up my sums and managed to double up. SO now the freezer is well stocked with chilli cheese sourdough.

Frost outside around -1, definitely picked the wrong week to swap out the boiler.

Medium drive 42 each way to visit family, blimey I knew efficiency dropped in cold (it was 2 degrees this morning) and of course Mrs B demands the cabin is at 27 degrees and still complained it's cold but under 3 miles / kWh <sheesh>.

Been unpacking the shipment that arrived a few days back. Not all the the china survived the handling 😢 luckily the monitors seem okay. Got to retrieve the separately shipped drives and set if the PC did.

Labour politician being disingenuous, wish I was shocked. Yes I did watch that interview.
The leader of the greens thinks he can persuade Putin to give up weapons. The leader of reform thinks he can cut public spending without cutting services. Labour risks falling into same trap in its immigration and asylum policies. To actually change the world we need less bravado and more scrutiny.

This makes me kind of hope there is a multiverse and somewhere and that there is a less fucked up timeline.

The recent change of drug for my age related macular degeneration seems to be positive. At today's injection the next one is now +10 weeks and if still clear then will be moved to +12 next year. 🤞🏼

Super, I can add Dupuytren Contracture to the list of gradual age related failings. Getting old(er) blows goats but beats the alternative.

Labour apparatchiks are mad if they think Streeting is the answer to their problems. He's an architect of the mess they are in right now.
So Wes Streeting allies want him to become Prime Minister - for the Labour Government to tank even faster.

We don't have time to play these silly games - people are suffering now.

Keep growing the alternative - they need replacing.

That's a load of effort www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud8k... to see if you can fool the AI. Bloody amusing mind.

The whip putting party ahead of country and constituents is wrong.

Exciting, heard from the shippers our boxes packed at the start of August arrive next week. That's my desktop PC, my books[1], Mrs B's motorcycle kit & assorted sundries.

[1] When we went in 2016 had to drastically prune my library won't to do it again, the ones that went in 2016 are coming home.

Thought this www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ7g... was interesting vis-a-vis prostate screening. I've tended to get PSA checks since an elderly relative albeit on Mrs B's side got caught by aggressive prostate cancer.

Anyhoo TLDR the stats don't bear out testing as being particularly useful.
Screening Saves Lives! Right??

Fatrage, Tice, Lowe etc. Must be flipping incandescent to find out the attacker on the train has an anglicised name and the brave guy who risked his life to stop it and got severely injured in the process is called Samir Zitouni.

My old Pi4 with the Pihole DNS and my VPN gateways on it seems to have croaked. The back up currently failing to restore to the card, might be a duff card. Luckily the second instance in a VM on the NAS is keeping up service or I'd be getting moaned at by Mrs B.

Crikey, the oldest disk in my NAS has cycled its SMART stats back to zero, i.e. now been running 7.5 years.

Perhaps the one thing I could have in common with Reformski's members
This could be Reform's new strap line:
