keeping up with my follow backs has been tough! i try to vet everyone i follow back; there are still bots and scammers here on bsky. generally if you've got a profile pic uploaded and a few genuine posts under your belt and you're not here _just_ to sell something, i'll gladly follow!
It's always sad to read about someone's passing, but...Brian Wilson's hit me extra hard. I was young when I first heard the Beach Boys but their harmonies wrote indelible marks on my soul. I didn't need to sing lead vocals to be a part of something joyful. My ear is excellent - I owe it to Brian.

not out of cruelty, just out of a desire to keep things fresh - when pup loses interest in a toy or treat i'll quietly put it away and give it back later. managed to sneak away the proky bone from yesterday and it is now ROUND 2!

Happy birthday to one of the very, very first world creation kits I ever used. My memories of ZZT and later, Megazeux are incredibly fond.
34 years ago today, ZZT was officially released. Since then, nearly 4000 worlds have been created. For many ZZT was their first step into game design, and it continues to draw new fans to this day.

Please check in on your friends not only in L.A. County, but all over Southern CA. In addition to the devastating loss of homes, thousands & thousands & of people in inland SoCal are having random shut offs of power w/out notification. Loss of expensive groceries, no heat, school closures, chaos.

I am deeply happy that the Mega Man episode of Secret Level exists. Read the criticism but I just can't help being excited about a complete love letter to Mega Man fans. There's so many wonderful references to lore if you look, and listen. The episode is the essence of Rock's good, heroic nature.
