As European I can recognize many sentiments in this piece.
What Americans, even those who voted for Harris must realise:
“If there is to be any hope for the U.S. regaining the world’s trust, everyday Americans need to come to grips with their role in undermining it.”
America Won’t Be Easily Forgiven—Even After Trump Is Gone
The president’s belligerence against Greenland and Canada was no joke to Europeans and Canadians, some of whom say they’ll never trust or visit the U.S. again.

Day 369

They executed an ICU nurse, Alex Pretti, in the street yesterday.

Within minutes the cover up and smearing began.

Once again you are being told to ignore what you saw for the state sanctioned version of events.

We KNOW what we saw.

This has to stop.

Now.

You are all caught up.

@handsoffnyc.bsky.social is training thousands of New Yorkers on how to protect their neighbors from ICE. Today, they are currently running two trainings in Brooklyn and the Bronx, both of which hit capacity because interest was so high.

This is the way, y’all—we protect each other, and we know it.

For no reason at all: I suggest you take time & watch footage from the Hong Kong democracy protests — specifically 2019-2020 protests. Get a sense of what tech-enabled anti-protest policing looks like. Those kids came up with wild stuff to withstand/neutralize “non-lethal” crowd control techniques.
