Trump deleted his racist post. It may be gone. But it’s not forgotten. In this day and age, it is all the more important that we continue to stand up for the humanity, dignity, and respect of everyone. Trump’s actions demonstrate the continued need for effort. I’ll keep fighting.

If pressure builds, they will throw someone over board as the “bad guy” but don’t forget that absolutely no one is resigning from ICE or Border Patrol right now.

Nevada faculty are grateful for all the solidarity today. Showing up meant the Regents moved up the agenda item. Our collective advocacy meant the Regents postponed changing collective bargaining policy changes and requesting more faculty input in future process on changes!
We're here with the Nevada Faculty Alliance to support the fight to preserve union rights and shared governance for Nevada's higher-ed workers. Solidarity! @nvfa.bsky.social @aft.org @afthighered.bsky.social @aaup.org @thenvindy.com

The Nevada Faculty Alliance thanks #NSHE Regents who spoke up and demanded that faculty and NFA be brought to the table for an open, transparent process for any policy changes to our collective bargaining process.

The Nevada Faculty Alliance is grateful to all who showed up to give public comment and to highlight how the policy changes for collective bargaining hamper the process, cause confusion, and take away from education! Solidarity wins the day!

Thanks to solidarity from @aft.org and @aflcio.org, the #NSHE Board of Regents did NOT change the collective bargaining policy. Faculty negotiating contracts now will continue to do so under the current rules! #WhenWeFightWeWin!

NFA has been attempting to get our right to collectively bargain in state law for the past 8 years (#AB191 #NVLeg). Having only an internal #NSHE process means our management makes the rules and can change the rules--even in the middle of contract negotiations.
