At our last meeting @jandrushko.bsky.social & Jason DeFreitas introduced the physiology & physics of #EMG & how to get optimal signals. They stressed the importance of:

* setting up a low-noise lab
* consistent electrode placement
* digital filtering
* amplitude normalisation

A really useful talk!
📢 This Friday at 14:00 BST, the first themed meeting of TMSMultiLab, on Electromyography (EMG) signals & processing, with @jandrushko.bsky.social & Jason DeFreitas.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to speak with several people living with knee osteoarthritis over at the @healthworks.bsky.social charity in Newcastle upon Tyne. This was an incredible discussion that is going to directly impact my future research in this area.
