Congratulations to @beckyfrancis.bsky.social and team for producing a curriculum and assessment review that's evolutionary rather than throwing all the achievements of the last few years overboard. Lots of sensible recommendations.

I have just met with our @womened.bsky.social trustees and I am feeling deeply grateful.
Each of these incredible women is a leader in her own right, and together they bring such wisdom, courage and generosity to our work.

From navigating the social care system as a novice I’ve found:
-social workers are incredible,
-care workers are the most under-valued, underpaid, most decent, humble people.
Giving dignity to older people who completely rely on others for their most basic needs is work society should value more.

I am excited to announce our new book, which pulls together all of different threads of what great schools do & celebrating them.
We've explored curriculum, learning, behaviour, attendance, personal development, & leadership. I'm forever indebted to all schools I've visited & worked with.
COMING JULY 2025! 📚

In #HowDoTheyDoIt?, @ensermark.bsky.social and @greeborunner.bsky.social unpack what sets truly outstanding schools apart - and more importantly, what we can all learn from them.

I don’t know which academic needs to hear this but yes you should absolutely email other academics just to tell them you enjoyed their article/book/chapter. Just do it. Don’t overthink it.

Hello So-and-so, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed ‘Title’. Hope you’re well. Best, You.

Done.
