As Trump continues to weaponize the EEOC against civil rights, we cannot stay silent. The lessons of our history are clear: bigotry and racism weaken this country, and we will not go backward.

32 people died in ICE custody last year — the agency’s deadliest year in over two decades.

Meanwhile, private prison corporations that are building and overseeing ICE detention centers are raking it in.

Cashing in on cruelty.

After they murdered Renee in Minneapolis, it took less than 24 hours for DHS agents to pull their guns and shoot two more people in Portland.

How many more people need to be wounded or murdered by DHS agents until my colleagues in Congress recognize the pattern of state-sanctioned violence?

This was a major initiative from the Biden White House, based in the idea of getting together all the countries with a stake in this crisis. They pressured China to stop precursor chemicals, hit hard at the capital funding for production in Mexico, and funded Narcan in the U.S. It apparently worked.
