I’m kind of astonished that the Shure Sm7b has become the mic of choice for so many podcasters. It’s almost a meme. Sure, it’s a great mic. But there are so many better options out there, from its own era and more modern choices. Still, it is good and does the job, so I guess there are worse memes.
