all the new stuff in the animal crossing update is cool but it makes me sad that new horizons is doubling down on the decoration stuff and basically completely abandoning the lifesim aspects. really solidifying it as my least fav in the series and less excited for the future of animal crossing

when i first read this as a teenager there was like 5 minutes where i thought this guy might've somehow been telling the truth. the smell is such a specific thing to fixate on and the last sentence is like oddly genuine lol
