You’re watching the administration lose control of the narrative in real time.

The more they show their supporters that they don’t give a shit about their gun rights, the worse it gets.

I’ve seen over a dozen right-wing commentators call out the propaganda. That’s progress.

I’ve reached out to both Gov. Walz and Sen. Klobuchar following the latest shooting involving federal agents in Minnesota.

Marylanders have witnessed this cruelty in our own communities – during a school drop-off in Salisbury and in Glen Burnie on Christmas Eve. These are not isolated incidents.

Just finished watching Nuremberg. Glad I did. The message is heavy-handed, but maybe it needs to be in this moment.

Looks delicious!
Making a random curry with lentils (curry leaves, cinnamon, garam masala, garlic, peppers, cauliflower and stem, etc.) And steaming some artichokes for wren to try for the first time (dipped leaves version)

Abolish ICE and prosecute everyone who stays in it from this day forward as members of a criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

America’s unions mourn the senseless killing by federal agents of our AFGE Local 3669 union brother and VA nurse Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

We reiterate our call for ICE to immediately leave Minnesota before anyone else is hurt or killed.

When I think about today, I remember Mr. Rogers: “Look for the helpers.” I saw him, Alex, the VA nurse, the neighborhood watcher. Now be a helper too. Call your member of Congress and say: “Not in my name," call (202) 224-3121 #ICE #CONGRESS and www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Happy birthday, Dad. Your faith in humanity, your insistence on love over hate, and your belief that everyone can serve continue to renew me. In the darkest of times, your legacy is a light. When I feel hopeless, your spirit carries me. You will forever be in my heart.

In moments of deep division, we must turn to each other, not on each other. We do not have the luxury of giving up. The path forward is service, community, and the hard work of uniting this nation.

During my 2018 visit to Los Angeles I took a photo of The Reiner’s. They represented a part of my “TV watching” world. One in my youth, the other as an adult. RIP #RobReiner

I made a pot of yammy beef stew today and was going to do some backing as well but I’m out of brown sugar for what I had planned. Instead I’ll make some chocolate shortbread. It’s a weird recipe but they taste great! (Recipe is in ALT.)

I encourage people to read Terry McMillan and Eric Jerome Dickey backlists. Great authors. Great novels.

I encourage people to read books and authors from the 90s, 2000s, 2010s, etc… Not just new releases.

We write because they wrote!
