Thinking about Brent Hines and his untimely passing. He was such an incredible musician. He pushed the genre of heavy metal forward in incalculable ways. I grew up loving dirt bikes, cycling, and heavy metal. He lived the dream for all of us.

As a cranky elder statesperson representative of librarian bluesky I feel very comfortable saying that anybody trying to replace librarians with AI has a serious misunderstanding of the value of librarians and probably libraries too.

Today I saw a City of Montreal electric cargo bike (different from the park maintenance ones I've seen before).
“Viens lire dehors” (“come read outside”) — a library program maybe?
