MSNBC reported Schumer's office felt that the longer that shutdown went on, the more likely it was that people would start to blame the Dems.
My kingdom for Democrats that don't govern out of fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The American people are far braver than their reps.

Me, when I ask the parents of my kid’s friend what they’re into so I can pick them out a birthday present, and get the response, “they’re really into dragons”:

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I am conscious? Again???
Last night I dreamed I was performing a song with 3 part harmony at a wedding. I was the soprano, but then to my dismay I showed up at the event and the other female singer also thought she was singing soprano, so I had 30 minutes to learn the alto part before the ceremony. Woke up in a panic 😱
