I graduated straight into the housing crash with a Religious Studies degree and no plan.
Good thing I’m not about to graduate into an even bigger recession with the Most Woke of all unemployable degrees (sociology, with a focus on defeating the far right), because that would SUCK lololol

What’s wild to me is now Congress is so willing to give up anything they have in terms of power, influence and governance.
Like I know the majority of them couldn’t care less about us or democracy, but I would have assumed they’d at least recognize they’re bowing themselves into irrelevancy.

Bureaucracy is actually the most efficient form of government. Max Weber argued it replaced systems of promotion due to loyalty and connections, rather than expertise and achievement. In a bureaucracy you have rules and regulations.
