After a hideous day yesterday, I thought someone out there might like to see this juvenile red tailed hawk. It likes to sit on one of the several bird feeders on my deck. It is quite used to me and doesn’t move even as I walk around the deck.

Our hummingbirds arrive in mid July, after their breeding season. There have been more this year in my Hummingbird Habitat yard than I can remember in any of the last 20 years. They have mostly moved on now. Flying south for their winter homes. See ya next year, lovelies! 💕💕💕
