This whole story is just too funny from beginning to end - “Ali, Harry and Barry” 🤣
The Telegraph has deleted the seemingly made-up article titled “We earn £345k but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays” featuring “Al & Alexandra Moy” from its website... but, if interested, you can access an archived version here. h/t @alanrew.bsky.social

Assaults, drone crimes and now driving at pedestrians, Beaufort ex-Huntsman and fugitive Anthony Holdworth is emboldened to carry out crime after crime, as long as Avon & Somerset Police and Wiltshire Police continue to fail in their duty to protect the public.

Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵

I wonder what it is about the models in this advert that Farage considers to make them "non-human..."
The great patriot doesn’t like the new Jaguar advert, so he hopes they go bust. What a horrid man.

Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested immediately if he steps on British soil.

As a former human rights lawyer, the Prime Minister should be well-versed in international law and the legal implications surrounding war crimes and accountability.

Does Clarkson think they should be shot too?

With new figures showing that more than one in three children in the UK are now living in poverty, with deprivation hitting a record high, it's good to see the Times focusing on the people who are really struggling

A perfect factual dissection of the debate showing exactly why IHT will in fact help actual farms. The dissent is nothing but manufactured outrage by the wealthy and powerful who are being asked to pay taxes. Farmers do like to moan for moanings sake.

Why inheritance tax charges are really good for real farmers – but not for financial whizz kids
I am aware I touched on the issue of inheritance tax on farms yesterday, but I felt it was worth another go. There is a lot of additional analysis in this post, so I hope it is worthwhile reading.  ...

Having had one of these fuckers driven at me I can attest they are huge and terrifying when deliberately used to intimidate.

This is far more aggressive and dangerous than anything you’d see at any JSO, Palestine (Action), or XR demonstration.

Will these farmers get a dawn raid? Will they fuck.

When the poorest families in the UK were hammered by the Tory budget,he crossed the Atlantic to back it in the House of Lords.

When rich land owners suddenly have to pay the same tax as everyone else, he suddenly finds himself worrying how families will cope.

Speaks volumes.

Jeremy Clarkson just explained that he didn't buy his farm just to avoid tax, he also bought it for shooting. Not sure "I would also be killing birds for fun" is quite the argument winner he thinks it is.

Genuine small farms should be thanking the government for dealing with the grotesque buy-up of land by cos-playing farmers who are in fact wealthy tax avoiders. Maybe now actual farmers and new farmers can afford to buy land to farm.

Why are they exempt? Why can they ride their polluting vehicles making Londons children’s asthma worse - through the city without paying? They aren’t on agricultural land or inbetween fields today.
The protestors want to call it "the tractor tax" because calling it "the inheritance tax protest" would turn off public opinion.

The tractors coming into London today, in fact, pay no road tax, no congestion charge, and no ULEZ.

Exempt from all.
