THE EPSTEIN CLASS
Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.

Action and tangible results are so much better than gripes and strongly worded letters.

Those who oppose ICE in Minnesota are battling not for a political agenda but for the goal of dissidents throughout history: a normal life, @galbeckerman.bsky.social argues.

It’s pretty fucking wild that the DOJ is releasing files that include accusations that the President of the United States raped underage girls, to distract from the fact that the DOJ is covering up murders of US citizens by their own government.

Homan: "I begged for the last two months on TV for the rhetoric to stop. I said in March -- if the rhetoric doesn't stop, there is gonna be bloodshed. And there has been. I wish I wasn't right. I don't want to see anybody die."

ICE's decision to just leave cars abandoned in the roads is one of those dystopian things that makes you recoil in shock when you encounter it.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

There is 0.0% chance that we will be fooled by a bs compromise in the senate on DHS funding. Package it, put a bow on it, try to sell it however you want. Not gonna work. If you aren’t sure about that, spend more time in your states with constituents.

One lesson to be learned from extremism in the 1970s is that violence can be avoided if calls for radical change are given a political outlet—but if governments ignore people's needs, “the violence will soon return,” Jason Burke argues:
Lessons From the Extremists Who Hijacked the 1970s
If calls for radical change aren’t given a political outlet, violence will always return.
