My therapist was giving me shit on being antisocial. I told her my new cat isn't mean, she likes seeing people but only if they stay a distance and don't come in her house. Therapist: Sounds familiar. Me: Oh my God, how am I raising my cat?!

My mom visited me last night in a dream. Or rather, I climbed snow mountains to reach her. She rebuilt our home and the cold sun is incredible. Downside to the reunion; she sat her down at the kitchen table and said someone will have trouble waking up from surgery.

Nightmind gave me an intro to Poppy's lore on YouTube & I saw her 1st in 2018. She's got a few rabbit holes covered in concrete. If she ever needs a new way out she makes one for herself. Reinventing & redacting what she wants, Poppy has filled the crown with media, music, & presence on her tours.

Went time traveling back to my childhood home in my dream last night and found my mom in bed. I couldn't wake her so I went in her things and found a note in a leather wallet. It took considerable effort to unfold and read. One was "dreams." The other "on the case." I woke up so disoriented.

I had one armful of Trader Joe's groceries and the other hand was free to toss Meow Mix to my neighborhood crow murder. They follow me. Someone yelled out from their car that I was beautiful. It is the crows. They bring that gothic charm to every one of my 'fits. 🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛

My therapist went on vacation to Ireland for a whole month and I am finally seeing her today. I've been with her long term and she has been doing better in her profession and as a person since she started to allow herself to take vacations. Remember to take care of yourself first.

11 years ago I had heavy menstrual bleeding as the result of my liver failing because of alcoholism. I waited to seek medical help for days out of shame. That final night I was vacuuming baby spiders out of my bedroom. I have no idea if it was real. The next day I was receiving a blood transfusion.

Next summer I am going to reserve the cabana and pool for a party. I will play music inside the cabana, maybe rig up what Kevin had in the party people are here scene in Home Alone but with pool toys...and swim in the pool all day by myself without fear of interruption.

I feel envious of my peers who are able to push through personal struggles and illnesses. It's like they can swim without stopping, riding their resilience like a wave till they are out of distance. But I can hold my breath longer underwater and when there's danger.

Olivia was sleeping on my legs and through her, I visited my old dog. My mom discovers us both quiet and sad. I don't want to leave Mitzi behind. "Well, she should go with you. She's been with you all your life." And then I am struggling down the Seattle street with two cats in a crate and a dog.

When I was a little girl, I used to creep up to my mom's bed in the dark and gently wake her up. She would always gasp from fright. I was being as polite as I could! I do not have small creepy children of my own but my #cats like to poke me in the back at 3am to wake me and it scares me.
