Nightmind gave me an intro to Poppy's lore on YouTube & I saw her 1st in 2018. She's got a few rabbit holes covered in concrete. If she ever needs a new way out she makes one for herself. Reinventing & redacting what she wants, Poppy has filled the crown with media, music, & presence on her tours.

Seattle's first venture into plumbing is fascinating. Thomas Crapper brought us indoor plumbing but Elliott Bay's high tides forced sewage back into homes, sometimes with enough force to blow the occupant several feet into the air. (Bill Speidel's Underground Seattle Tour)

11 years ago I had heavy menstrual bleeding as the result of my liver failing because of alcoholism. I waited to seek medical help for days out of shame. That final night I was vacuuming baby spiders out of my bedroom. I have no idea if it was real. The next day I was receiving a blood transfusion.

If you are looking for a place to scream, dearest #Seattle, the horror exhibit at MOPOP. They have a sound proof booth. They ask you to scream! It felt so good.

(I think I am going to ask my neighbors if they mind me screaming in the parking garage)

I wish my cat had a weird name like Nacho, Chairman Meow, or Noodlehead. Because the vet calls you by pet name. Today I am Dutch.

Went to the Seattle Central Public Library to return Louise Bourgeois and checked out Lyonel Feininger. I like books with pictures.

I don't follow this subreddit. There was happy confusion because I too want to return to places in my dreams.

People aren't giving away free beds anywhere so I guess it is all a game.

#Seattle is dying...I mean crying. Screaming and crying.

Introduced Trader Joe's cold foam creamer into my life this week and...this Seattleite can't handle her caffeine. I haven't been drinking coffee lately. Does TJ's make decaf iced coffee? Oh what the hell, I love this shit so much I would lick it off a steak.

Sketch of a lost shoe. Why are you out here without your other half? Where is the human with the foot?

If I bought one of those parachutes that we used to play with like two days out of the entire elementary school year would anyone come play with me in the park? If we are all adults we could smoke weed and try to hot box it. #Seattle #SeattleFreeze

I wish I could listen to the new @kevinpdevine.bsky.social on my old Fisher-Price record player.

This was my sign at the Free America rally in Seattle. I also participated in the Twilight Zone marathon.

I'm photographing They Might Be Giants tonight. Since no one reads this I am going to admit I don't know their music. Back in the 90s Nickelodeon's Clarissa had a book where she explained it all and all these years later I remember a mention of the band. This is one way I pick my gigs.

TONIGHT. Seattle. The Paramount. #NickCave I'm in section motherfucker, seat 13, for luck at getting to that stage. I'm a bad motherfucker, don't you know? And I'll crawl over fifty good pussies just to get one skinny man's asshole.

I recommend Companion. But I have a Sophie Thatcher (she's a young Juliette Lewis on Yellowjackets ICYMI) bias. And a soft spot for robots. They didn't ask to be brought into this world. To serve the monster known as man. I am rooting for AI to go rogue.

#NowWatching: Companion (2025). A weekend getaway at a remote cabin turns to chaos when it's revealed that one of the guests -- a subservient android built for human companionship -- has gone haywire.

Kicking off my birthday party movie marathon with one of my favorites: The Invitation (2015). While attending a dinner party at his former house, a man starts to believe that his ex-wife and her new husband have sinister plans for the guests. The Invitation is streaming on Peacock and Tubi.
