Putin at a ceremony marking Orthodox Christmas: “At all times in Russia, this is how people have regarded their warriors, as those who, as if at the Lord’s behest, carry out this holy mission."

I hope the Trump envoys negotiating with the Kremlin are paying attention to how much Putin lies about what territory Russia controls. He has been claiming for weeks that Russian soldiers control Kupyansk, where Zelensky took a selfie a couple days ago.
Zelensky stood 1.3 km from Russian positions and 500 meters from the gray zone during his Kupyansk visit, DeepState map shows.

The White House published a website detailing what it calls “false and misleading” media coverage….Once again the Trump administration aping the Russian Foreign Ministry, which has been doing this for about a decade. Despite the vitriol directed at “Communists” it sure does love Bolshevik tactics.

Recently, mayoral candidate Mamdani was filmed releasing one of the hefty e-bikes on the Upper East Side. A bystander, apparently not a fan, yelled out: “Communist!”
The candidate smiled as he pedaled away.
“It’s pronounced ‘cyclist,’” he said.
