Ofsted annual report warns against ‘profiteering’ in the children's homes sector.

If only we had a bill that would tackle this!

What's that? We do?

Yes, the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill does exactly this.

Only it's been held up in the Lords for months!

Plus sides to today: Two-child benefit scrapped. Largely progressive tax implications. Good market reaction. No big spending cuts. Nightmare prospect of cutting funding to net zero etc avoided. It's a left-wing budget. Those who say there's no difference between Labour and Tories are bananas.

Warren is, as far as I can tell, the only presence in the 'labour government communications department'.
He does a great job and I'm very happy to try to amplify his output.
Thanks Warren.

More stuff Labour are doing that's almost totally unreported by the press.
Getting prison leavers into work

In the last 12 months over 300 top businesses have joined the government's recruitment initiative to take on prison leavers.

For those with sentences of 12 months or more, employment rates after 6 months have so far risen to an all time high of 38%.

A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) shows that estimates about the damage done by Brexit have underestimated its impact over the course of a decade. Data now suggests that Brexit has reduced UK GDP by 6%–8%, reduced investment 12%–18%, and reduced productivity by 3%–4%.

There's now more investment in green energy than in fossil fuel. Its good for our future.

This year, Labour increased the minimum wage for all workers at well above inflation.

But they increased it even MORE for younger workers.

They aim to get the rates the same for all ages.

But Reform want the opposite - to reduce the minimum wage for younger people.

Support Labour. Oppose Reform.

Minimum wage is £10 or £12.21 an hour.

How much does Farage get paid an hour?

he declared £40,075.37 for 10 hours. So just over £4k an hour. Quite probably more.

He is not on your side.
