It is religious neutrality day. When the City of Vancouver stopped opening their meetings with prayer. It's a good thing. We don't need arguments about religious ideas when we have so many things to get done.

There really is a difference between those whose family experienced war in recent generations and those who haven't. I can see it in people's understanding of what is happening in the US.

Ian, this topic seems reckless. Many Canadians have a sense of dread of an impending war right now, this includes children. Trump installing loyalists in all top positions makes it worse

With another set of news headlines about political elites using “””Roman salutes””” I just want to note that the Nazi salute means “I want to murder your family” and the n-word means “I want to lynch you.” That’s what they mean, they make me righteously angry, and I won’t let anybody minimize them.
