Had the chance to watch AC/DC in Edinburgh last night as they finished up their tour and it was simply stupendous. Angus on the guitar is still a sight to behold, he was phenomenal.

How are we all feeling about Alien : Earth then? I watched the first 2 episodes last night and thought it was good so far. Particularly the eyeball with legs. Although I did think the alien had Turkey teeth veneers at one point.

Not enough education goes on in schools to show kids what a drug addicts life is like. After watching a family member on hard drugs for 20+ years, if you showed kids what their day to day life was like, they wouldn’t go near them. My kids have watched this unfold and it’s put them off for life.

And one final thought: Ozzy going out after giving an emotional final performance that raised a ton of money for charity is more spiritually uplifting and did more genuine good than anything any televangelist and religious grifter who railed against him ever did combined.

As Sabbath’s doomsayer-in-chief, Osbourne could summon a true sense of terror in his keening cries in a way that heightened the band’s muscular dirges.

He made sense of his bandmates’ heavy swagger and brought their supernatural racket back down to earth in a way that has resonated with millions.

I hear a lot about King Charles & his environmental concern but I would love to know if he’s extending that to his lands in Scotland which have for years been completely deforested for hunting/grouse shooting. Is he rewilding any of those? Or is it all just a show? Genuinely curious.
