Starbucks' CEO Brian Niccol earned $100,000,000 in his first 4 months on the job.

That's a rate of $590 per minute.

It took 33 minutes for him to earn $20,000.

🎶 Oh my god I will vooote

I will vote

Chuck Schumer out 🎶
Trump, Musk, and DOGE would use the power of a shutdown to shift into overdrive.

And the courts, one of our best places to fight these autocrats, could quickly run out of money.

We can’t let this happen.

🚨BREAKING: With @raskin.house.gov & @scanlon.house.gov, I’m leading 100+ House Democrats in demanding answers on Mahmoud Khalil’s arrest.

Trump’s attempt to deport Khalil is authoritarian & an attack on the First Amendment. We won’t sit quietly as his administration tries to dismantle free speech.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

Agreed! Correctional officers wanting to repeal the HALT Act shows their true colors. They want to be able to brutalize and do whatever they want to incarcerated people without any accountability. Disgusting. Tear it down!
I support the right of public sector workers to strike, but the demand of the correctional officers to repeal the HALT Act is a non-starter. While the economic & overtime conditions for the officers are not ideal for any job, the strike is designed to uphold a racist, anti-poor carceral system. 1/2

strongly agreed with Cara. some of y'all talk like you have hidden a spare population of unproblematic, unpropagandized people to build a mass movement out of under your couch cushions or something.
It reminds me of my first labor organizing job when my trainer said "The thing that's different about labor is that you just have to organize who's here" and to some extent, the older I get, the more I realize that's true everywhere.
