I looked into the media hysteria around a trans woman allegedly competing in the Boston Marathon yesterday. What I found was that every single anti-trans headline about the issue could be traced to a single person. It's 2025 & media literacy is dead.

When I was asked to be a Racer for @grandslamtrack.bsky.social in October it was the easiest yes of my career. I can’t believe the first Slam is finally here!

Feeling grateful for my people, queer community, and sponsor-I’ll be debuting a new lululemon kit for each Grand Slam! Let’s do this thing🔥

Hi there! Because there’s no nonbinary category-hope this helps! I was also assigned female at birth and I’ve competed in the women’s category my entire career. I’m just asking for people to use they/them pronouns when referring to me- it’s really not that deep. Most decent humans can understand it👍
Hey Nikki:
If you are nonbinary, why do you only choose to compete in the women's categories? Why never the men's?

the way she looked SO controlled that last 50m too 😮‍💨
Damn, that was incredible. Arkansas' Bella Whittaker was in heat one of the 400m at the NCAA Indoor Championships, in a two-heat final.

She just ran an American record of 49.24 seconds! It was the second-fastest time anyone has ever run indoors. Femke Bol holds the world record (49.17 seconds).

World Athetics, the international governing body for track & field, was asking stakeholders for their thoughts on going back to mandatory sex testing for women. The deadline has now passed, but you can email consultation@worldathletics.org.

They've been supposedly collecting feedback for weeks...

When signing an eo that bars trans students from sports Trump said "From now on, women's sports will be only for women”

On Saturday I'll be standing on the start line of a women's race at the biggest indoor meet in the world in front of a sold out crowd in NYC and I STILL won't identify as a woman

Bluesky how do we feel about the women’s field getting a 32 second head start? 🤔 too many seconds? Not enough?

I’d love to expand a bit here-
Part of loving someone is holding them accountable for their actions in a respectful and productive way -which is different from shaming them.
I believe harassing Shelby isn’t productive. That doesn’t mean I, and many others in this sport, won’t expect accountability.
