Reflecting on 2025, the bad and the good.

Thank you for sticking around and not giving up on me.

I tried hard to keep it under wraps, but at this point it’s gotten past the limits of what my personal coping mechanisms can handle. With everything that has happened in just a single year socially, I feel like a husk. On top of all the deaths I’ve faced, and grief/depression. I’m not enjoying the things I usually would. I’ve had just. A lot of loss this year. And a lot of self doubt, I’ve lost a lot of my confidence in my artwork and it’s worth. I found myself working on things I was passionate about, and I come out of sharing it with the online community still feeling like a living ghost. I know I’ve been absent from a lot of spaces as of late, and I’ve been trying to balance between work draining my social battery and attempting to let people know I’m still around. But as the year closes out, I’m just too far gone. I’m tired, and I’m just letting the days carry me forward because after a year of what feels like so much failure, I know I don’t have the option to give up. Who have asked if I’m okay, who’ve sent me a little DM here and there to still offer me a spot at their table while I’ve been sinking right under the surface. They’ve offered small words of encouragement to me about hanging in there and about what I make, and I want you to know if you’ve done that, those words were monumental in preventing me from throwing everything away. I personally can’t express how much it means to me to be remembered, included, and thought of. It’s not something I’m used to, and it genuinely meant the difference between sinking completely and being able to see a reason to keep trying. So, thank you for your patience, your empathy and understanding, and your kindness. You were a pocket of Good in a very bad year. I only hope that better days are ahead. I NEED there to be better days ahead. Not just for me but for the people around me and the people I love. Here’s to hoping. As hard as it is, I need to start hoping again.

I got to be a part of the @malevolent.ca XMas Radio ‘25 this year. I collaborated with Taliesin (badm00n) on the Heatmiser/Snowmiser parody ft. Kayne and the Manager!

I got to see my brother today, and that was really nice.
I have some art I did for another malevolent fan project I’ll get to share soon. I have an art piece for episode 59 I’m almost done with, and some very brief sketches I’ve done lately too.
