I just... I really struggle to understand the purpose of all these new apartment buildings that charge 2000/month for a studio. I get the target audience are tech bros that spend all day at the office, but how many of those people do developers think exist??

The GOP really are the most vile, pathetic, and stupid people.. 15 years to present an alt plan to the ACA and it is just, give money to citizens to give to insurance companies rather than give directly to insurance companies? It is clear that the silver spoon fed have just paid in cash for care

It really is so fascinating to me to watch the same people scream "States Rights!!" over and over again, now simply state, "Well Federal Law supercedes State Law" when they hold the keys to the govt. These people have never actually held a sincere belief in their life, no principled positions

I am so serious about everyone needing to have a dash cam. Even a shitty cheap one you have to reset every trip will be enough to save you serious heartbreak and hassle. Especially when police NO LONGER RESPOND TO ACCIDENTS

I think this a bigger problem than previously thought. While on a trip with family literally everyone but me would use AI to look something up during a conversation. People just actually want to be brainless drones incapable of doing anything themselves.
the nyt posts this stuff like avoiding AI for 48 hours is hard and meanwhile i have literally never once intentionally used an AI program for anything ever
