I don’t have any coherent thoughts of any kind to share today, everyone should tell me what video games they’re playing.

Happy #PortfolioDay! 🥳🎙️🎛️💕

I'm your hot-blooded heroic and big brotherly sound, with some gruff and world-weary sometimes curmudgeonly elder bastards sprinkled in here and there for color.

Give my work a listen, won't you? 🫴🏿✨

I think there needs to be more studies done on psychosis in society— I think it’s a much more common human trait, more akin to an emotional state than a psychological disorder* for many.

I view most customer service training as strategies for navigating casual psychosis.

Nobody asked, but my only thought about Gavin Newsom is that he’s a desperate appeal to those who pine for the pre-Trump days when the problems with the US government were more easily concealed, like the bleeding that was already happening in the streets.

The enemy of your enemy is not your friend.

one of the weirdest things about the current moment is how the national media have to pretend like they don't know what this is about. official government social media accounts are posting about racially cleansing America and they have to pretend like it's not clear who the bad guy is.

When I was a teenager in the early 00s, I had a few friends in computer science, and we would quote Futurama and the Dilbert tv show at each other while playing 8 player Halo over system link.

I still fw Futurama and Halo.

If anybody gets mad at you for being nostalgic for the 90s, here’s one point of objective superiority. Sega Saturn is another one you can follow it up with.
semi-regular reminder that ICE was only created in 2003

when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out

Uplink is a game I keep revisiting, in part because the soundtrack has never left my mind, but also because it's really really hard (to me), in a fun way.

It has this way of teaching you to be subtle but also think on your feet. As a game from 2001 (!!!) I think more people should talk about it.
Connecting... Dialling... Hacking...

Immersed from the first moment the game boots up into a world of clandestine internet crime and activism, and in one of my favourite game OSTs to this day.

I think y'all gotta remember one person with 3 followers saying something incomprehensible is not reason enough for you to make your whole day posting about it. You're doing permanent damage to your psyche but more importantly to my psyche and I don't deserve to see the dogshit posters you follow

Oh, the collective wonder they're about to release into the world...

I was playing a bit of donkey Kong country, and I have this problem where I love the music and the atmosphere of the stages, but I don’t like the game that much.

DKC2 may be the sweet spot and I love parts of 3, but overall I don’t love the mechanics at play.

The Return series is much better.

I don’t like when the government needs to get involved in a ban, but if that’s what it takes, that’s what it fuckin takes.

Obviously I’m preaching to the choir by posting here but

Get the fuck off the pervert (pejorative) pedo app formerly known as Twitter.

There are plenty of perverts (complimentary) on this app for you to enjoy.

In 1998, the (bad) Italian movie Cucciolo somehow managed to do something important: they shot quite a long sequence in the now-defunct SegaWorld London, located inside the London Trocadero. The park opened in 1996 and closed in 1999.
Here is the entire sequence.

I guess this is an unpopular opinion lol

I don’t think the rest of the series ever matched up to the magic of the first season, but it’s always been entertaining to watch. I think my least favourite was Stranger Things 3, and the parts of season 4 with Jonathan as a stoner was pretty grating.
Stranger Things really stuck the landing for me.

I think every character got a satisfying trajectory, where even the ones that I thought were misused in past seasons now feel like what happened was necessary. Props to the Duffer Bros. for that.

A good ending really can bring everything together.
